Alisdair Simpson (born 1969) is a British actor, voice-over artist, and narrator. Known for his distinctive and masculine voice, he has narrated over 250 documentaries, including popular shows like 'Pompeii: The Last Day', 'Lost Land of the Jaguar', and 'Operation Iceberg'. Simpson appeared as Ser Donnel Waynward in Series Four of Game of Thrones and portrayed Chapman Carter in the stage production of War Horse at The New London Theatre from 2014 to 2016. He also lent his voice to the character Richard in the BAFTA-winning and Oscar-nominated short animation film 'The Bigger Picture'. Simpson graduated from the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School in 1995.
