Alisha Ena Wainwright, born on July 14, 1989, is an American actress known for her leading roles in the Freeform series Shadowhunters (2017–2019) and the Netflix series Raising Dion (2019–2022). Originally from Orlando, Florida, Wainwright has Jamaican and Haitian heritage. She gained initial recognition through a web comedy sketch on the YouTube channel Smosh in 2012. Since then, she has made guest appearances in various film and television projects, including Criminal Minds and Lethal Weapon. In 2016, she was cast as werewolf Maia Roberts in the fantasy series Shadowhunters, becoming a series regular for its third season.
