Alison Sweeney

Alison Sweeney is an American actress, reality show host, director, and author. She was born on September 19, 1976. Sweeney is best known for her role as Samantha 'Sami' Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives. She played the character from January 6, 1993, to October 30, 2014, earning a Daytime Emmy Award nomination, four Soap Opera Digest Awards, and a Fan Voted Daytime Emmy Award. Sweeney returned to Days of Our Lives as a series regular in 2021 after making sporadic appearances. In addition to her soap opera career, she hosted The Biggest Loser from 2007 to 2015. Sweeney is married to David Sanov and they have two children.
