Alistair Petrie (born September 30, 1970) is a British actor known for his roles in various movies and television shows. He has appeared in notable films such as The Bank Job (2008), Cloud Atlas (2012), Rush (2013), and Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016). On television, Petrie has been featured in Channel 4's Utopia, BBC One's The Night Manager, Sherlock, and Undercover, as well as the Netflix original series Sex Education. Born in Catterick, North Yorkshire, Petrie grew up in different parts of the world due to his father's career as an RAF fighter pilot. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art and began his career in theatre, including performances at the Royal Shakespeare Company and the National Theatre.
