Alix Lapri

Alix Lapri (born November 6, 1996) is an American singer, songwriter, and actress. Born in Topeka, Lapri gained recognition through her participation in talent shows during her youth. She is known for her portrayal of Effie Morales in the television series Power and its sequel, Power Book II: Ghost. In 2011, Lapri signed with Crown World Entertainment, where she formed a friendship with Jacob Latimore. Together, they released several song covers, including a rendition of 'My Boo'. Lapri released her first extended play, 'I Am Alix Lapri', in 2012, receiving positive reviews. She also ventured into acting, with appearances on shows like Reed Between the Lines and Red Band Society, and in films like Den of Thieves.
