Allan Loeb is an American screenwriter, film and television producer. He was born on July 25, 1969, in Highland Park, Illinois, to Elsie and Henry Loeb. Loeb attended Ithaca College from 1988 to 1992 but dropped out to work at the Chicago Board of Trade. In 1993, he moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in screenwriting. Loeb's notable works include writing the films 'Things We Lost in the Fire' (2007), '21' (2008), 'The Switch' (2010), 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps' (2010), 'The Dilemma' (2011), and 'Just Go with It' (2011). He also co-wrote the musical 'Rock of Ages' (2012) and the comedy 'Here Comes the Boom' (2012).
