Allelon Ruggiero

Allelon Ruggiero is an American actor best known for his role as Stephen Meeks in the film Dead Poets Society. Born on March 5, 1971, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Ruggiero attended the Philadelphia High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and later the University of the Arts in Philadelphia. He made his debut in Peter Weir's film and went on to have minor roles in movies like 12 Monkeys and The Mirror Has Two Faces. Ruggiero also appeared as a guest lead in an episode of Law & Order and had a lead role in the comedy horror movie The Greenskeeper. He took a break from acting for nine years and returned in 2013. Ruggiero has also ventured into directing, having written, directed, and acted in a short film titled 'Lost' which received recognition at the Denver Film Festival.
