Alma Cuervo (born August 13, 1951) is an American stage actress and singer. She holds an M.F.A. in acting from the Yale School of Drama, graduating in 1976. Cuervo starred as Madame Morrible in the first national tour of Wicked, replacing Carole Shelley in 2006. She later appeared in the first national tour of My Fair Lady and returned to Wicked in 2007. Cuervo originated the role of Hilary in Susan Charlotte's The Shoemaker in 2011 and played Gloria Estefan's grandmother, Consuelo, in the Broadway musical On Your Feet! in 2015. Her other theater credits include Beauty and the Beast, Cabaret, and Dancing at Lughnasa.
