Alon Abutbul is an Israeli actor known for his versatile performances in film and television. Born on May 28, 1965, in Kiryat Ata, Israel, Abutbul comes from a Mizrahi Jewish family with roots in Egypt and Algeria. He attended the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts in Givatayim before starting his acting career. Abutbul gained recognition for his role in the Israeli film 'Shtei Etzbaot Mi'Tzidon' (Two Fingers from Sidon), set during the 1982 Lebanon War. He continued to showcase his talent in various films, including 'Bar 51' and 'Malkat Hakitah.' In 2019, Abutbul received the IFFI Best Actor Award (Male) at the 44th International Film Festival of India.
