Alvin Law
Alvin Law (born 1960) is a motivational speaker and former radio broadcaster. He was born without arms due to his mother's use of thalidomide during pregnancy. Law was raised by foster parents and learned to perform daily activities using his feet, including driving, playing sports, and playing musical instruments such as the drums, piano, and trombone. Despite societal expectations for disabled children at the time, Law attended regular schools and went on to have a successful career in radio broadcasting. In 1988, he transitioned to full-time motivational speaking with the founding of AJL.
