Alyson Hannigan

Alyson Hannigan is an American actress and television presenter. She began her career at a young age, appearing in commercials before moving to Hollywood at age 11. Hannigan gained recognition for her supporting roles in comedy films such as Impure Thoughts (1986) and My Stepmother Is an Alien (1988), earning a Young Artist Award nomination. From 1999 to 2012, she starred as Michelle Flaherty in the American Pie film series, receiving three Teen Choice Award nominations and a Young Hollywood Award. Hannigan also appeared in Date Movie (2006), You Might Be the Killer (2018), and Flora & Ulysses (2021). In television, she starred in the sitcom Free Spirit (1989-1990) before gaining widespread fame for her role as Lily Aldrin in the popular sitcom How I Met Your Mother (2005-2014).
