Amaia Salamanca

Amaia Salamanca Urízar is a Spanish actress born on 28 March 1986 in Coslada. She gained recognition for her role as Catalina Marcos in the Spanish adaptation of the Colombian TV series Sin tetas no hay paraíso and as Alicia Alarcón in the series Gran Hotel. Initially not planning to pursue acting, she landed her first role in the TV series SMS after a successful audition for the television channel LaSexta. Amaia has also worked as a model for various photo shoots, video clips, and shows. She made her theater debut in 2009 and has appeared in TV movies such as Felipe y Letizia. In October 2020, she became an ambassador for Codorníu and starred in their campaign 'Live to celebrate'.
