Amanda Billing

Amanda Billing (born 12 April 1976) is a New Zealand actress known for her role as Doctor Sarah Potts on the popular New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street. She grew up in Masterton and studied at the University of Canterbury, earning a Bachelor of Arts with 1st Class Honours in Geography. After completing her education, Billing trained at the Christchurch College of Education and worked as a high school teacher. However, her passion for drama led her to pursue acting, and she has appeared in several amateur stage productions. In addition to her role on Shortland Street, Billing has also been a part of shows like Find Me a Māori Bride, Newsworthy, The Cul de Sac, and The B.
