Amanda Hale Biography
Amanda Hale is a British actress born on October 2, 1982. She was raised in northwest London to Irish immigrant parents and is one of four children. Hale initially intended to study English at Oxford University but later decided to pursue a career in acting. She trained at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, graduating in 2005 with a BA in Acting Degree. Hale has performed on both stage and screen, with some of her earliest acting experience being plays at the National Youth Theatre. She won the Audience Prize and Best Fight Award at the 2003 RADA Prize Fights and was nominated for two Evening Standard Theatre Awards in 2007 for her role in The Glass Menagerie. Hale made her Royal National Theatre debut in September 2009.
