Amanda Mealing

Amanda Jane Mealing (born 22 April 1967) is an English actress, director, and producer. She is best known for her portrayal of Connie Beauchamp in the BBC medical dramas Holby City and Casualty. Mealing grew up in Dulwich, South London, as the youngest of four children. She was adopted, and her adoption was kept a secret. Despite feeling like she didn't quite fit in, Mealing was part of a strong and loving family. At the age of 15, her brother's death had a deep impact on her and made her realize the importance of making the most out of life. With the desire to pursue her dreams, Mealing embarked on a successful career in the entertainment industry.
