Amanda Perez

Amanda Jane Perez (born May 24, 1980) is an American R&B singer-songwriter and record producer. Raised in Fort Wayne, Indiana, Perez attended North Side High School and grew up in the Waynedale community. She developed a tough street persona by selling drugs and boxing with boys during her teenage years. In 2001, she was discovered by talent manager and producer (Mighty)Mike Quinn and signed to Powerhowse/Silverstone Records. Her debut album Where U At? was released in 2002, featuring the successful singles 'Never' and 'Angel'. 'Never' reached No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 sales chart. Perez announced the birth of her son Sebastian King Perez with her wife Ana Laura Perez on October 2, 2019.
