Of Scandinavian descent, she spent most of her childhood in Connecticut before moving to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career. Swisten gained recognition for her roles in movies such as American Wedding, The Girl Next Door, and TV shows like Two and a Half Men. She also appeared in popular music videos, including William Hung's She Bangs, Eminem's The Real Slim Shady, and Kid Rock's Bawitdaba.
