Amber Gray

Amber Renae Gray (born April 2, 1981) is an American actress and singer. She is best known for her roles in the 2016 Broadway musical Natasha, Pierre, & the Great Comet of 1812 as Hélène Bezukhova, and for originating the role of Persephone in the musical Hadestown, both on and off Broadway. Gray received a Tony Award nomination for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her performance in Hadestown and won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Theater Album in 2020. She started her screen career with an appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in 2007. Gray has a BFA in acting from Boston University and an MFA in acting from New York University.
