America Olivo

America Athene Olivo (born January 5, 1978) is an American actress and singer. She gained recognition as a member of the band Soluna and for her roles in movies such as Bitch Slap (2009), Friday the 13th (2009), and Maniac (2012). Olivo also starred in the Broadway musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark. Born in Van Nuys, California, she holds dual citizenship in the United States and Canada. Olivo is the daughter of Danica d'Hondt, Miss Canada in 1959, and winemaker Nello Olivo. She married actor Christian Campbell in 2009. Olivo appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine in June 2009. She has a diverse background with Belgian, Irish, Italian, and Basque heritage.
