Amira El Sayed Biography
Amira El Sayed is an Austrian actress and author based in Vienna, Austria. She was born on June 3, 1991, in Innsbruck, Austria, and is the only child of Erika El Sayed, an Austrian language and history teacher, and Adel El Sayed, a university teacher and political scientist from Egypt. Amira grew up bilingual, speaking both Arabic and German, and lived in Alexandria, Egypt, before returning to Innsbruck with her parents. At the age of 16, she moved to Vienna to study acting at the Max Reinhardt Seminar, where she was taught by Klaus Maria Brandauer. Amira's first international film role was in the 2016 movie 'A Hologram for the King,' directed by Tom Tykwer and starring Tom Hanks.
