Amy Gledhill Biography
Amy Gledhill is a British stand-up comedian known for her witty and unique comedy style. Born in Hull, she is the youngest of seven children. Gledhill has received recognition for her work, including nominations for Best Show at the UK National Comedy Awards and Best Show and Best Newcomer at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival. In 2018, she was announced as the second winner of the Caroline Aherne Bursary on the BBC One programme The One Show, which included a cash prize and mentoring from a BBC commissioning editor. Gledhill is also part of the comedy sketch double act The Delightful Sausage, with Chris Cantril, and has appeared in the BBC Two and BBC iPlayer comedy series Alma's Not Normal. In 2022, she made her solo show debut at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, earning a nomination for Best Newcomer for her solo show The Girl Before The Girl You Marry in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards.
