Amy Miller
Amy Miller is a Canadian film-maker known for her documentaries. She started her career in 2007 and has since directed films such as Myths for Profit (2009), The Carbon Rush (2012), No Land No Food No Life (2013), Tomorrow's Power (2017), and Gaza: Health Under Siege (2018). In addition to being a film-maker, Miller is also the founder of the production company Wide Open Exposure. She gained attention in 2002 when she was arrested for her involvement in the Seven Year Squat protest, which aimed to bring attention to the housing crisis in Ottawa. Miller and her co-defendants defended their actions based on necessity and Colour of right.
