Amy Ryan

Amy Beth Dziewiontkowski, known professionally as Amy Ryan, is an American actress of stage and screen. She began her professional stage career in 1987 and made her Broadway debut in 1993. Ryan received two Tony Award nominations for her performances in Uncle Vanya (2000) and A Streetcar Named Desire (2005). In 2007, she gained recognition for her role as Helene McCready in the film Gone Baby Gone, earning a Critics' Choice Award and nominations for an Academy Award and Golden Globe Award. Ryan has also appeared in films such as You Can Count on Me (2000), Capote (2005), Before the Devil Knows You're Dead (2007), and Birdman (2014).
