Amzie Strickland

Amzie Ellen Strickland (January 10, 1919 – July 5, 2006) was an American character actress known for her work in radio, television, and film. With over 650 television appearances and roles in two dozen films, Strickland was a prolific performer. She began her career in the old-time radio era and transitioned to television, making notable appearances on popular shows such as Adam-12, Dragnet, Gunsmoke, The Dick Van Dyke Show, The Andy Griffith Show, and I Love Lucy. Strickland also appeared in various television movies, commercials, and worked on radio commercials as well. Her extensive resume includes appearances on numerous hit shows like The Twilight Zone, Leave It To Beaver, Mission: Impossible, The Golden Girls, ER, Full House, and Perry Mason.
