Ana Nogueira

Ana Nogueira is an American actress and playwright. She is best known for her roles as Sarah on the TV show Sarah + Dee and as Penny Ares on The Vampire Diaries. Nogueira gained recognition for originating the role of Eliza Hamilton in the original Vassar workshop production of the musical Hamilton. Born and raised in East Falls, Philadelphia, she attended Friends' Central School and later earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from the Boston Conservatory at Berklee in 2007. Nogueira is married to actor and writer Nick Blaemire.
