    Andrew Gower (born November 8, 1989) is an English actor known for his work in British television and theatre. He gained recognition for his recurring role as Cutler in the series Being Human and for portraying Prince Charles Stuart in Outlander. Gower was born in Aintree, Merseyside, and attended Davenhill Primary School and Great Sankey High School. During his studies, he discovered his passion for acting and joined a local amateur drama group. After completing his A levels, Gower enrolled at Barrow Hall College before eventually graduating from the Oxford School of Drama. In 2010, he was honored with the Spotlight Prize for Best Actor. Gower made his television debut in 2011 on the ITV series Monroe, playing the character Dr. Andrew Mullery.
