    Andrew Lancel, born Andrew Watkinson on 3 August 1970, is an English actor, producer, and director. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Dr. Andrew Collin in the TV series Cardiac Arrest and DI Neil Manson in The Bill. Lancel is best known for his role as Frank Foster in the long-running soap opera Coronation Street, as well as his acclaimed performance as Brian Epstein in the stage play Epstein – The Man Who Made The Beatles. Starting his acting career in local theatre, he appeared in the TV film Wide-Eyed and Legless in 1993. Lancel is known for taking on controversial roles and projects, and has been described as the most realistic doctor on TV.
