Andrew Lincoln, born on September 14, 1973, is an English actor. He gained recognition for his role as Rick Grimes in the AMC series The Walking Dead, a post-apocalyptic horror show. Prior to that, Lincoln had notable roles such as Egg in the BBC drama This Life (1996-1997), Simon Casey in the Channel 4 sitcom Teachers (2001-2003), Mark in the film Love Actually (2003), and Dr. Robert Bridge in the ITV series Afterlife (2005-2006). For his portrayal of Rick Grimes, Lincoln received the Saturn Award for Best Actor on Television in 2015 and 2017. Although he departed The Walking Dead in 2018, Lincoln made a cameo appearance as Rick in the series finale in 2022. He is set to reprise his role as Rick Grimes in an upcoming spinoff of the show scheduled for release in 2024.
