Andrew Matarazzo (born March 4, 1997) is a Brazilian-American actor, singer, and author. He gained recognition for his role in the final season of the MTV television series Teen Wolf. Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Matarazzo was raised in Miami, Florida, in a diverse, multilingual family. Fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, he developed a passion for acting after being inspired by River Phoenix in Stand by Me. Matarazzo studied in Thorpe, Surrey, near London, at the American School in England (TASIS), as well as the University of the Arts in Philadelphia and the California Institute of the Arts (CalArts) in Los Angeles. He has appeared in various short films showcased at the Tribeca Film Festival.
