Andrew Phung is a Canadian actor, improviser, and comedian known for his role as Kimchee Han on the CBC Television sitcom Kim's Convenience. Born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Phung is of Vietnamese and Chinese descent. He attended Bishop McNally High School and later studied economics at the University of Calgary. Prior to pursuing acting, Phung worked as a non-profit director. He joined the Loose Moose Theatre Company at the age of 16 and is currently a senior ensemble performer and instructor with the theatre. In addition to his work on Kim's Convenience, Phung is also the co-creator and star of the sitcom Run the Burbs.
