Andrew Tiernan Biography
Andrew James Tiernan (born 30 November 1965) is a British actor and director. He began his acting career with the Birmingham Youth Theatre and later studied at the Drama Centre London. Tiernan has appeared in various theatre productions, including Joe Penhall's The Bullet and Sam Shepard's A Lie of the Mind and True West. In 1991, he played Piers Gaveston in Derek Jarman's film adaptation of Christopher Marlowe's Edward II. Tiernan also had a role in Lynda La Plante's Prime Suspect. He continues to work in both film and television, with notable appearances in various TV shows and movies throughout his career.
