Andy Bean, born Thomas Andrew Bean on March 13, 1953, is an American professional golfer who has played on both the PGA Tour and the Champions Tour. He has achieved success at both the amateur and professional level, earning a total of 11 PGA Tour victories, including a win at the 1986 Byron Nelson Golf Classic. On the Champions Tour, Bean has won three times, including a dominant 9-stroke victory at the 2008 Charles Schwab Cup Championship. Born in LaFayette, Georgia, Bean grew up in Jekyll Island, Georgia, and later moved to Lakeland, Florida. He attended the University of Florida, where he played golf for the Florida Gators men's golf team and won four amateur tournaments.
