Andy Blitz

Andy Blitz (born June 28, 1971) is an American comedian, writer, producer, and actor known for his sketch comedy and writing work on Late Night with Conan O'Brien. He has received nine Emmy Award nominations. Blitz was born in New York City and grew up in Ridgewood, New Jersey, where he attended Ridgewood High School and graduated in 1989. He graduated from Columbia University in 1994. Blitz established himself as a fixture of New York City's stand-up comedy scene by 1999, performing regularly at Luna Lounge. After leaving Late Night, he worked as a writer, executive producer, and guest actor on Comedy Central's Review and as a writer and co-executive producer on Netflix's Master of None. Blitz also wrote for the Adult Swim series Eagleheart and appeared in Season 4 of Arrested Development.
