Andy Romano Biography
Andy Romano (April 16, 1936 – September 14, 2022) was an American actor known for his role as 'J.D.' in the 1960s Beach Party movies, where he portrayed an outlaw motorcyclist and right-hand henchman of the character Eric von Zipper. Following the decline of the Beach Party films, Romano took on minor roles in television episodes and TV movies throughout the 1970s and 1980s. In the late 1980s, he returned to movies in supporting roles while also making guest appearances on TV series like NYPD Blue. Romano retired from acting in the late 1990s and settled in Washington state. He passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 86.
