Angel Desai

Angel Desai is an American actress, known for her work on stage and in film and television. Born in Philadelphia and raised in Binghamton, New York, Desai comes from a family of physicians, with her father being Indian and her mother being Filipina. She developed a passion for performance at a young age and actively participated in musical and acting activities during her school years. Desai graduated from Oberlin College and later earned her MFA from New York University's Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Acting Program. She has appeared in numerous Off-Broadway productions, including The Winter's Tale and The Tempest. Desai made her Broadway debut in the 2006 revival of Stephen Sondheim's Company, earning critical acclaim for her performance as Marta.
