Angela Griffin

Angela Mellissa Griffin, born on July 19, 1976, is an English actress and television presenter. She has been active in British television since the early 1990s. Griffin is widely recognized for her roles as Fiona Middleton in the ITV soap opera Coronation Street from 1992 to 1998 and in 2019, Kim Campbell in the BBC One drama series Waterloo Road from 2006 to 2007, 2009 to 2010, and 2023 to the present, and DS Lizzie Maddox in the final two series of ITV's detective drama series Lewis from 2014 to 2015. She was also part of the original cast of Holby City, playing the role of nurse Jasmine Hopkins from 1999 to 2001. Griffin, who attended Intake High School in Leeds, has an English mother and a Caribbean father from St Kitts and Nevis. In addition to her television career, she made a guest appearance in the ITV soap opera Emmerdale in 1993.
