Angela Kang

Angela Kang (born March 23, 1976) is an American television writer and showrunner. She is best known for her work on the AMC horror drama series The Walking Dead, where she served as showrunner for the final three seasons. Kang was born and raised in Irvine, California to Korean immigrant parents. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Theater from Occidental College, and a Master of Fine Arts degree in screenwriting from the University of Southern California. Kang started her career as an intern on Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, and later worked as a staff writer on the unaired NBC series Day One.
