Angela Susan Roberts is a New Zealand teacher, unionist, and politician. With a background in education, she spent 20 years teaching economics and drama. In 2013, Roberts became the President of the Post Primary Teachers' Association (PPTA) union, where she advocated for teachers' rights and criticized educational policies. She later took a teaching position at Stratford High School and became the senior vice president of the PPTA. Roberts also participated in discussions about the Just Transition Summit in Taranaki, focusing on the importance of education and training for future businesses and workforce sustainability. Although there was speculation about her running as a Labour Party candidate in the 2017 election, she ultimately decided against it. Roberts is currently serving as a Member of Parliament.
