Angela Visser

Angela Visser is a Dutch actress, model, and beauty queen. She was born on October 18, 1966. In 1989, she made history as the first and only Dutch woman to be crowned Miss Universe. Prior to her win, she had worked as a model and beautician and had been crowned Miss Holland in August 1988. Visser also opened the European Walk of Fame in Rotterdam on May 5, 1990, along with the mayor at the time, Bram Peper. She competed at Miss World 1988 but did not place in the top ten. At Miss Universe 1989, she won all three semi-final competitions and was the clear choice of the judges. After her reign, she returned to the pageant as a color commentator.
