Angelique Bates

Angelique Bates (born December 1, 1980) is an American actress, comedian, and rapper. She gained recognition for her role in the Nickelodeon sketch-comedy series All That, where she appeared for two seasons. Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Bates comes from a mixed heritage of Haitian and Native American descent. Her acting career started at a young age, landing commercials for Borax and AT&T, as well as a co-starring role in the short film Sweet Potato Ride. After several auditions, Bates joined the cast of All That, showcasing her talent with impressions, including a memorable Steve Urkel impersonation. Although she departed after two seasons, Bates returned for the show's 100th episode, reuniting with fellow All That cast members Katrina Johnson and Alisa Reyes.
