Angie Cepeda, born Angélica María Cepeda Jiménez on 2 August 1974, is a Colombian actress. Best known for her roles in the telenovela Pobre Diabla and the films Captain Pantoja and the Special Services and Love in the Time of Cholera, Cepeda has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry. Born in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia, and raised in Barranquilla, Cepeda discovered her passion for drama and moved to Bogotá to pursue her acting career. She started with advertisements, then landed bit parts in soap operas and movies in Colombia. Her breakthrough came with the soap opera Las Juanas, leading to prime time roles in shows like Luz Maria (1998).
