Angus Castle-Doughty is an English actor, best known for his roles in stage productions and television dramas. Born on 12 February 1995, Castle-Doughty began his acting career by appearing in various stage productions such as Teechers, The Government Inspector, The Picture of Dorian Gray, and All Quiet on the Western Front. In 2021, he joined the cast of the BBC courtroom drama series Showtrial, and from 2022 to 2023, he played the role of Eric Foster in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks. His portrayal of Eric Foster led to a high-profile incel storyline, earning him a nomination for Villain of the Year at the 2023 British Soap Awards. Castle-Doughty is a graduate of Dulwich College and the University of Warwick, where he studied English, Theatre, and History.
