Angus Deayton Biography
Gordon Angus Deayton, born on January 6, 1956, is an English actor, writer, musician, comedian, and broadcaster. He gained fame as the original presenter of the satirical panel game Have I Got News for You and as the host of the British panel show Would I Lie to You? from 2007 to 2008. Deayton was also a regular cast member of the sitcom One Foot in the Grave from October 1990 to 2000 and portrayed George Windsor in the series Waterloo Road. He attended Oakhurst Grange School and Caterham School before studying French and German at New College, Oxford. Deayton showcased his talent early on as a footballer and rugby player, captaining the Caterham U16 Rugby team.
