Anita Barone

Anita L. Barone (born September 25, 1964) is an American actress known for her co-starring roles in various sitcoms. She gained recognition for her appearances in popular TV shows like The Jeff Foxworthy Show, Daddio, Shake It Up, The War at Home, and Friends. Barone was born in St. Louis, Missouri and holds a BFA from the University of Detroit and an MFA in theatre from Wayne State University. She made notable guest appearances in the sitcom Seinfeld and was a regular cast member of Carol & Company with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone portrayed Carol Willick, Ross Geller's ex-wife, in Friends before leaving to pursue other opportunities.
