Anita Briem Biography
Anita Briem (born 29 May 1982) is an Icelandic actress known for her roles in various film and television projects. Born in Reykjavík, she is the daughter of drummer Gunnlaugur Briem of Mezzoforte and back-up vocalist Erna Þórarinsdóttir. Briem began acting at the National Theatre of Iceland when she was just nine years old. She later moved to England at sixteen and graduated from the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London in 2004. Her notable roles include Queen Jane Seymour in The Tudors and Hannah Sigurbjornsdottir in Journey to the Center of the Earth. Briem has also appeared in films such as Dylan Dog: Dead of Night (2011) and Elevator (2011).
