Anita Brown

Anita Brown was the founder of Black Geeks Online, an Internet community in the late 1990s and early 2000s. She was an influential figure in the online geek community, providing a space for black geeks to connect and share their interests. Brown resided in Washington, DC, for the majority of her life. Sadly, she passed away on September 8, 2006. Her contributions to the geek community continue to be remembered and appreciated by those who benefited from her pioneering work.
