Anita Hill
Anita Faye Hill is an American lawyer, educator, and author known for her role in the 1991 Clarence Thomas Supreme Court nomination hearings. Born on July 30, 1956, in Lone Tree, Oklahoma, Hill was raised in a farming family and grew up in the Baptist faith. She graduated as class valedictorian from Morris High School in 1973 and went on to earn a bachelor's degree in psychology with honors from Oklahoma State University in 1977. Hill is currently a professor of social policy, law, and women's studies at Brandeis University, where she is a faculty member of the Heller School for Social Policy and Management.
