Ann Bell Biography
Ann Forrest Bell is a British actress, born on 29 April 1938 in Wallasey, Cheshire. She is best known for her portrayal of war internee Marion Jefferson in the BBC Second World War drama series Tenko (1981–84). Bell attended Birkenhead High School and began her acting career with a lead role in the BBC adaptation of Jane Eyre (1963). Throughout her career, she has had numerous guest roles on television shows such as The Avengers, Armchair Theatre, Sherlock Holmes, Inspector Morse, and Midsomer Murders, among others. Bell's diverse range of work also includes appearances in films like Tumbledown and Blackeyes. She has been an accomplished actress in British television and film for several decades.
