Ann Hearn Biography
Ann Hearn (born Ann Neel Simons; June 27, 1953) is an American actress and stage director. Born in Griffin, Georgia, she currently resides in Los Angeles, California with her actor-husband Stephen Tobolowsky. Hearn gained recognition for her prominent roles alongside Jodie Foster in The Accused (1988) and in the film Lorenzo's Oil (1992). After the COVID-19 pandemic began in 2020, she shifted her focus from acting to stage directing, working on the experimental play Reykjavik by Steve Yockey. Hearn attended the University of Georgia, Athens, where she studied English and History before earning her MFA in 1979. She is married to actor Stephen Tobolowsky and they have two children.
