Ann Wedgeworth Biography
Elizabeth Ann Wedgeworth (January 21, 1934 – November 16, 2017) was an American character actress known for her roles in Three's Company, Sweet Dreams, and Evening Shade. She won the Tony Award for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for Chapter Two (1978). Born in Abilene, Texas, Wedgeworth graduated from Highland Park High School and the University of Texas. She made her Broadway debut in 1958 and had many roles in both Broadway and off-Broadway productions. Wedgeworth was also a childhood friend and high school classmate of Jayne Mansfield. She passed away on November 16, 2017.
